At Citrus Grove Dental Care the staff is very professional and make you feel comfortable and also they treat you respect from the minute you enter the office. Dr. C Tran will help with any issues you are having with your teeth. She takes her time and does wonderful work. I highly recommend this dental office.
If one can say they enjoyed their visit to the dentist, they probably were a patient at Citrus Grove Dental Care. The reminders of my appointment were greatly appreciated. I was greeted warmly by the office staff. The hygienist was personable, patient, and professional. The cost was completely reasonable.
I will start by saying that the front office ladies were very cordial and focused upon my needs during my visit. They earn one star.The Hygienist was good and very considerate of my comfort level while doing my cleaning. She earns another star. However, I was very disappointed in the Dentist, Lisa Peters DMD. and how she handled my $81.00 professional exam. The first thing that bothered me is that my Oral Cancer Screening was performed by the Hygienist/technician, not the doctor. Never before has a dentist relegated that responsibility to anyone else but the Dentist/physician themselves. Deduct one star. With all due respect to the Hygienist, I paid for and expected a professional exam and opinion and that is not what I received.Secondly, I have never paid for a periodic exam of my mouth by the Dentist where the dentist just came into the room, asked me how I was, and then did not even ask me to open my mouth for her to look in. Deduct another star. Always in the past with any other dentist that I have gone to, it has been customary to first review and consult with the hygienist about the Hygienist's findings and then for the Dentist's own hands on examination to confirm the hygienist's findings. None of that happened. Deduct another star. During my supposed exam with Lisa, my impression is that the Dentist was in a hurry and didn't even want to take the time or to use up another pair of sterile gloves on me.Well, I'm out of there and they can save that pair gloves for some other prospect for future poor service. Perhaps they will learn from this review in order to improve their services. That is my only intention here in this review.
Wonderful staff. Very welcoming as soon as you step through the door. They are very understanding and accommodating if you have dental anxiety. They wont scold you like other dentists do and really want whats best for you. I will always recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a good dentist. And a big thank you to the whole office for making my visit a pleasant one!
