I was immediately greeted when I walked in. It's always nice to know someone is available and attentive in case I need help finding something. Got the pet food I was looking for and cashed out with a very polite cashier who was patient even though I clicked the wrong button during my transaction.
Nobody seems to want to help. Everybody seems preoccupied with their work and not involved with customer service. a lot of the people that work there really don't even know what they're doing or how to answer your your questions properly. I was talking to another lady while I was in the store and she agree she says don't go to Petco go to PetSmart!
Staff could not be any friendlier. I accidentally tore open and spilled a large bag of dog food and one of the staff was right there to pick it up and made no fuss at all. Super accommodating and helped me to not feel like a dummy. Its the small things that matter sometimes.
Great variety of animals. Reptiles, fish and fuzzy all available for purchase. Inventory is easy to find and they have in store pet grooming available. Employees were friendly and helpful. Located in a strip mall so parking is no problem.
We LOVE our Petco people. They are very helpful, and best of all, they are kind to the animals they keep there, and all of their animals are very healthy. We have bought all three of our ferrets babies from them, as well as fresh water fish and Betta, all of which came home healthy. They also have cats available for adoption through the South Lake Animal League. The place is always clean and smells nice even though dogs and other pets are allowed in and can sometimes have accidents on the floor. Their selection is excellent, especially as far as food goes, and they stock a wide variety of holistic foods and your everyday cheaper stuff. Overall, an excellent store.
